Wind-farms are changing our perception of energy, technology and landscape in the 21st Century.

The video piece ‘Still Moving’ in collaboration with Scott Yoell explores an abandoned rusted broken wind-farm on the Big Island and raises paradoxical questions in regards to current environmental issues. The still images in the landscape function as a point of tension between stillness and moving forward in such precarious times.

There are many agricultural practices that are not natural, in the sense of being anti-natural. These are practices that seek to maximize yields at the cost of the complex ecological relationships that make our agriculture sustainable.
