Chasing the light of Pele is a body of work that uses digital infrared photography to develop new ways of looking at the world we live in. Shot in Hawaii in the context of the Artist in Residency Program at Volcano National Park in December 2015, the project proposes a series of images that explore contemporary photographic representations of the myth and stories of Pele the goddess of the volcano.
